Manama, Oct. 17 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,946.02 points marking an increase of 2.50 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the rise in the Communication Services Sector, Financial Sector and Material Sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 726.51 points marking an increase of 2.27 points above the previous closing.
Results indicated that 52 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,978,872 worth BD 314,761.
Investors traded mainly in the Financial Sector representing 61.18% of the total value of securities traded.
