Jaffari Endowments Chairman reopens mosque

Manama, June 13 (BNA): Yusef bin Saleh Al-Saleh, Chairman of the Jaafari Endowments Council, today reopened the Hoora Cemetery Mosque in Manama, which was renovated in record time after a major fire.

The opening was attended by members of the Jaafari Endowments Council and Muhammad Jaafar Ali al-Husseini, Director of the Jaafari Endowments.

Al-Saleh highlighted the support provided by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to develop places of worship in Bahrain.

He pointed out that this project is in line with the directives of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to restore and develop mosques throughout Bahrain.

The Chairman of the Board expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, led by the President of the State, Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, headed by Nawaf bin Mohammed Al-Maawda, in implementing the directives. His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to establish, restore and develop 30 mosques under the Sunni and Jaafari endowments throughout Bahrain.

Al-Husseini stressed that the Directorate is keen to provide aid, care and support to places of worship.

He praised the follow-up of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Endowments and the directives of the Jaafari Endowments Council.

Those in charge of the mosque and worshipers expressed their gratitude to the president and members of the council and the directorate for renovating the mosque in record time.
