Boeing reports aircraft deliveries down again in August

Frankfurt, Sept. 13 (BNA): US-based aircraft manufacturer Boeing again delivered fewer passenger and cargo jets in August than in the previous months, the company reported on Tuesday.

A total of 35 aircraft found their way to customers in August, according to the company’s monthly statistics published on Tuesday, according to dpa.

The manufacturer had delivered 43 aircraft in July and 60 in June, after having to temporarily suspend deliveries of its 737 Max series of commercial airliners due to production shortcomings in April.

Meanwhile, Boeing reported receiving orders for 45 new aircraft, offset by two cancellations.
