Applied Science University hosts graduation ceremony

Manama, June 20 (BNA): The Applied Science University hosted today the graduation ceremony of the fifteenth and sixteenth batch, which included more than 700 students.

The Minister of the Royal Court, Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, attended the ceremony, which was held in the wedding hall of the Gulf Hotel, Al Dana, under the auspices of the Minister of Education and the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council, Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak Juma.

In a speech delivered at the ceremony, the minister praised His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their support for the education sector.

The Minister of Education congratulated the graduates and their parents, and praised the academic achievements of the university, which strengthened its position.

And he announced the approval of the Supreme Elections Committee for the university’s request to grant the double degree (double award) for its programs hosted by London South Bank University, which enhances its attractiveness to students from outside the Kingdom of Bahrain.
