National Action Charter Monument hosts UK student delegation

Manama, Jan. 13 (BNA): A student delegation representing the diplomatic communities at the UK-based Oxford University, King’s College and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), paid a visit to the National Action Charter Monument.

The delegation was informed about the main exhibition gallery, which lists the chronological stages of the development of the Kingdom from ancient times to the present, using interactive technological means.

The visitors were briefed about the most important aspects of the close and long-standing relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom in many vital fields.

They were also informed about the names of the 98.4% who voted for the National Action Charter (NAC), which were engraved on the walls of the NAC edifice.

Members of the visiting delegation expressed their admiration for the exhibition and the valuable and diverse information it contains about Bahrain’s culture, customs and traditions, as well as for the way it is presented using interactive means.

They expressed thanks to those in charge of the exhibition, which provided them with the opportunity to learn about aspects of Bahrain’s history and present.
