Bahrain tops global destinations for expats living and working abroad in 2023

Manama, July 11 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain achieved a remarkable achievement, achieving profits of 1street Ranked Global in the Expat Essentials Index for the second year in a row, as well as securing a coveted position in the top 10 destinations for expats in the 2023 Expat Insider Survey conducted by InterNations.

Of the 53 countries surveyed, Bahrain ranks 9thy globally and 1street in the Middle East and North Africa. Confirm the competitiveness of the island country as a leading destination of choice for living and working abroad in an international arena.


The Expat Essentials Index measures the ease of setting up daily lifestyle services when settling abroad, as stated in the 2023 Expat Insider Survey by InterNations Report: “Administrative issues are not a cause for concern in Bahrain, nine in ten (86%) say opening a bank account Local is easy (vs. 62% globally)…. 59% do not struggle when dealing with bureaucracy and local authorities (vs. 39% globally).”
