Speaker meets Tanzanian National Assembly Chair

Rabat, June 16 (BNA): Speaker of the House of Representatives and Chairman of the Parliamentary Executive Committee Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam held a meeting with the Speaker of the Tanzanian National Assembly, Dr. Tulia Axun Mwansu, on the sidelines of the Interfaith Dialogue Conference. Dialogue entitled “Parliaments and Religious Leaders: Promoting Dialogue and Working Together for Our Common Future”.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed means of cooperation to coordinate positions in regional and international parliamentary forums in order to achieve the interests and aspirations of the two friendly peoples, especially in light of the rapid changes taking place in the world.

They also praised the distinguished relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Federal Republic of Tanzania in many fields, stressing the importance of strengthening joint relations and expanding cooperation.
