Manama, June 20 (BNA): Chief Executive Officer of Governmental Hospitals, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Ansari, received today a delegation from the French Embassy in Bahrain, headed by Emmanuel Maier, Senior Adviser to the Embassy, ​​to discuss ways to achieve this. Enhancing cooperation between Bahraini government hospitals and the health sector in France.


Dr. Al-Ansari stressed the depth of the long-standing Bahraini-French relations.


The two sides discussed a number of health cooperation projects between the two countries, especially the medical training programme.


The CEO of government hospitals stressed the importance of enhancing fruitful cooperation between the two countries, especially with regard to medical training, field visits, high-level training for Bahraini doctors in France, and the exchange of medical expertise.


Emmanuel Mayer emphasized the depth of bilateral relations, stressing the need to strengthen joint cooperation.


He affirmed his country’s readiness to contribute to improving the level of health care services provided in Bahrain in order to strengthen the friendly relations between the two countries.
