Bahrain clinches second place in AVC Challenge Cup for Men

Taipei, July 15 (BNA): Bahrain’s national volleyball team ranked second in the 2023 Men’s Volleyball Asian Challenge Cup.

The national team lost to Thailand 3-0 in the final of the tournament hosted by Chinese Taipei 20-25, 20-25, 16-25.

The national team was in exceptional condition throughout the tournament. They overcame Sri Lanka 3-1 in their opening preliminary round match and bounced back from a 3-2 loss in their second first-round match against Indonesia to defeat the Philippines 3-0 in a second-round match.

Bahrain then beat the mighty Australians 3-1 in the quarter-final match, and beat South Korea 3-0 in the semi-final.
