Manama, July 8 (BNA): Labor Minister Jamil bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan met with Dr. Amer bin Muhammad Al-Hajri, Director General of the Executive Office of the Labor and Social Affairs Councils of the Gulf Cooperation Council states.
They reviewed the topics on the agenda of the ninth meeting of the Committee of Labor Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council, which will be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain later this year.
Ways of developing joint Gulf programs in the fields of labor and human resources were also discussed.
Humaidan stressed the importance of enhancing joint Gulf action, praising the role of the Executive Office in implementing programs that support the efforts of the Cooperation Council.
He pointed to the importance of exchanging successful experiences in the Gulf catfish markets, especially in the field of employment and rehabilitation of citizens, and the creation of promising opportunities in various productive sectors for them.
Al-Hajri praised Bahrain’s support for the Executive Office, indicating that it reflects the Kingdom’s keenness to advance joint Gulf action.
