Bahrain All Share Index marks 1,952.33 points

Manama, Aug. 24 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,952.33 points marking a decrease of 1.82 points below the previous closing.

 

This decrease was due to the fall in the Consumer Discretionary Sector and Financial Sector.

 

Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 749.70 points marking a decrease of 1.15 points below the previous closing.

 

Results indicated that 48 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,291,176 worth BD 416,573.

 

Investors traded mainly in the Financial Sector representing 73.77% of the total value of securities traded.
