Manama, Aug. 31 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,952.16 points marking a decrease of 0.28 points below the previous closing.
This decrease was due to the drop in the communication service Sector and real estate sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 746.76 points marking a decrease of 0.60 points below the previous closing.
Results indicated that 51 equity transactions took place with a volume of 18,114,213 worth BD 2,363,770.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector representing 78.88% of the total value of securities traded.
