Bahrain Bourse closes trading at 1,964.37 points

Manama, Aug. 22 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,964.37 points marking an increase of 1.49 points above the previous closing.

 

This increase was due to the rise in the financials sector and real estate sector.

 

Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 761.23 points marking a decrease of 0.23 points below the previous closing.

 

Results indicated that 51 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,225,722 worth BD 641,033.

 

Investors traded mainly in the materials sector representing 65.93% of the total value of securities traded.
