Manama, Oct. 3 (BNA): The Coast Guard has organised awareness campaigns for seafarers and the users of jet skis and boats to enhance safety awareness among the public.
The campaigns focused on general safety instructions and the importance of not leaving children unattended and wearing life jackets. It is also essential not to swim in unauthorised areas.
The Coast Guard called on users of jet skis and boats to adhere to maritime safety procedures while sailing, to take caution of the weather conditions, not to approach vital installations or enter places designated for swimming, and to ensure to have safety tools onboard.
The campaign also included distributing multi-language awareness brochures.
