Manama, May 16 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,009.14 points, marking a decrease of 1.08 points below the previous closing.
This decrease was due to the drop in the consumer discretionary sector and the financial sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 776.40 points, marking an increase of 2.22 points above the previous closing.
Results indicated that 28 equity transactions took place with a volume of 345,823 worth BD 112,886.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 83.03% of the total value of securities traded.
