Manama, Jan. 4 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,972.62 points marking an increase of 9.11 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the rise in the Communications Services Sector, Financials Sector and Materials Sector.
Bahrain lslamic Index has closed at 729.56 points marking an increase of 1.91 points above the previous closing.
Results indicated that 53 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,127,105 worth BD 898,035.
Investors traded mainly in the Materials Sector representing 88.02% of the total value of securities traded.
