Manama, Dec. 4 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,949.93 points, marking an increase of 8.74 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the rise in the communication service sector, financial sector and material Sector.
Bahrain lslamic Index closed at 744.14 points, marking an increase of 3.54 points above the previous closing.
Results indicated that 54 equity transactions took place with a volume of 804,040 worth BD 294,923.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector representing 70.63% of the total value of securities traded.
