Manama, Dec. 26 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,930.64 points, marking an increase of 2.82 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the rise in the consumer discretionary sector and material sector.
Bahrain lslamic Index closed at 726.17 points, marking a decrease of 2.02 points below the previous closing.
Results indicated that 83 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,576,974 worth BD 339,270.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector representing 49.74% of the total value of securities traded.
