Manama, Dec. 27 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,945.63 points marking an increase of 14.99 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the rise in the consumer discretionary dector, financial sector and material sector.
Bahrain lslamic Index closed at 726.94 points marking an increase of 0.77 points above the previous closing.
Results indicated that 89 equity transactions took place with a volume of 3,727,769 worth BD 682,075.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector representing 47.68% of the total value of securities traded.
