HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister welcomes the human rights report released by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office

Manama, July 14 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, welcomed the Human Rights and Democracy Report 2022 issued by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The report removed the Kingdom of Bahrain from the list of priority countries in the field of human rights, which reflects the Kingdom’s achievements in the field of human rights and its positive path in this field due to its promotion of modern constitutional and legal provisions for human rights.

His Highness praised the progress made by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the field of human rights and its achievements through the Kingdom’s comprehensive development plan led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

His Highness affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to relevant charters and laws helped preserve human rights.

His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister indicated that the Kingdom of Bahrain continues to adopt initiatives that promote human rights and highlighted the importance of respecting human rights rooted in Bahrain’s culture, identity and Islamic law.

His Highness highlighted the role of the Board of Commissioners of the National Institution for Human Rights in promoting and protecting human rights.

His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister expressed his pride and thanks for His Majesty the King’s praise for the government’s success in establishing, promoting and promoting awareness of human rights.

On this occasion, His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister praised the historical relations dating back more than 200 years between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom, as well as the distinguished strategic partnership and the wide-ranging cooperation between the two kingdoms. .
