Verdict Enforcement and Alternative Sentencing Director General receives Deputy British Ambassador

Manama, July 8 (BNA): Director General of Implementation of Alternative Provisions and Provisions, Shaikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Khalifa, received Stuart Summers, Deputy Ambassador of the United Kingdom to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Sheikh Khalid affirmed the advanced step in implementing the values ​​and principles of the reform project of His Majesty King bin Isa Al Khalifa by strengthening the criminal justice system and focusing on rehabilitating 5,651 beneficiaries of the Penal Code and alternative measures.

He highlighted the rehabilitation and training programs provided to the beneficiaries through the open prisons program, which is part of the alternative punishments by focusing on the scientific, cultural, professional and psychological aspects through workshops and lectures to ensure their development and gradually reduce their risks.
