Manama, June 20 (BNA): The Labor Market Regulatory Authority, the Ministry of Interior and relevant government agencies continue their joint efforts to intensify inspection campaigns against illegal practices in the labor market, in order to preserve fair competition. and a stable job market.
The Labor Market Regulatory Authority announced that it conducted five joint inspection campaigns that resulted in reports of violations related to labor market and residency laws. Cases have been referred for legal action.
Two campaigns were organized in coordination with the General Directorate of Crime Detection and Criminal Evidence at the Ministry of Interior in the capital and the northern governorates.
The third campaign was carried out in the Capital Governorate, in coordination with the Directorate of Execution of Sentences at the Ministry of Interior.
The fourth campaign took place in Muharraq Governorate, in coordination with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs and the Governorate Police Directorate, while the fifth campaign took place in the Southern Governorate, in coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The Labor Market Regulatory Authority has renewed its call to all members of society to support the efforts of government agencies in addressing illegal labor practices, by reporting violations through the electronic form on the authority’s website www.lmra.gov.bh or by calling the authority’s call center at 17506055. .
