At the conclusion of her meeting in Berlin with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, on a working visit to Germany, the head of German diplomacy, Annalina Berbock, reiterated Germany’s “longstanding support for the United Nations”. – A process he leads for a realistic, practical, lasting and mutually acceptable political solution.


According to the Maghreb Arab News website (MAP), the two ministers affirmed their common position in favor of the “specificity” of the United Nations in the political process, while affirming their support for the relevant UN Security Council resolutions, which indicated the role and responsibility of the parties in the search for a realistic and practical political solution. The two countries also affirmed their support for the Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary-General, Staffan de Mistura, and his efforts to move the political process forward on the basis of relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
