Manama, Sept. 26 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,937.68 points marking an increase of 2.63 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the raise in the communication service sector, consumer discretionary sector, financial sector and real estate sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 728.01 points marking an increase of 2.24 points above the previous closing .
Results indicated that 58 equity transactions took place with a volume of 905,586 worth BD 134,256.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector representing 75.18% of the total value of securities traded.
