Bahrain All Share Index marks 1,986.39 points

Manama, Jan. 11 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,986.39 points, marking a decrease of 3.68 points below the previous closing.

 

This decrease was due to the drop in the Communication Services Sector, Financial Sector and Material Sector.

 

Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 741.45 points, marking a decrease of 2.93 points below the previous closing.

 

Results indicated that 28 equity transactions took place with a volume of 2,239,337 worth BD 1,557,189.

 

Investors traded mainly in the Material Sector, representing 89.18% of the total value of securities traded.
