Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search and Follow-Up inspects readiness of King Fahad Causeway for Hajj, Eid

Manama, June 14 (BNA): The Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Research and Follow-up, Brigadier Abdulaziz Al-Dusairi, inspected the King Fahd Causeway to supervise its readiness to accommodate the increase in travel during the Hajj season and Eid Al-Adha. His Highness also inspected the first phase of the bridge’s expansion, which included the inauguration of five exit cabins.

He has been informed of a plan to reduce paper processing time before crossing the bridge through electronic systems and deploying more staff. He praised the efforts of the bridge staff to remove any obstacle in front of passengers.

The Assistant Undersecretary praised the dedication of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, Sheikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, to ensure smooth movement during the travel seasons.
