Bahrain Bourse closes trading at 1,954.14 points

Manama, Aug. 23 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,954.14 points marking a decrease of 10.23 points below the previous closing.

 

This decrease was due to the fall in the communications services sector, financials sector, industrial sector, and materials sector.

 

Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 750.85 points marking a decrease of 10.38 points below the previous closing.

 

Results indicated that 80 equity transactions took place with a volume of 2,786,885 worth BD 967,857.

 

Investors traded mainly in the materials sector representing 44.06% of the total value of securities traded.
