Manama, Nov. 15 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,945.07 points, marking an increase of 6.28 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the rise in the communication service sector, financial sector and material sector.
Bahrain lslamic Index closed at 739.90 points, marking an increase of 0.68 points above the previous closing.
Results indicated that 49 equity transactions took place with a volume of 2,830,202 worth BD 1,594,244.
Investors traded mainly in the material sector representing 74.15% of the total value of securities traded.
