Manama, May 9 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,030.26 points, marking an increase of 3.30 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the rise in the communication services sector, the consumer discretionary sector and the industrial sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 768.94 points, marking an increase of 1.48 points above the previous closing.
Results indicated that 86 equity transactions took place with a volume of 127,508,083 worth BD 17,883,384.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 48.87% of the total value of securities traded.
