Manama, July 5 (BNA): Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force, received Senator Rick Scott, a member of the US Senate Armed Services Committee.
The meeting was attended by Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defense Affairs.
Sheikh Khalifa praised the Bahraini-US relations and continuous cooperation in all fields, including the military and defense fields.
The Commander-in-Chief stressed the importance of the partnership between Bahrain and the United States, which is still witnessing continuous development.
