Manama, June 13 (BNA): Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Ayman bin Tawfiq Al-Moayyed, received Ishaq Abdullah Ishaq, Chairman of the Executive Committee Organizing the International School Games (ISF), Bahrain Gymnasium 2024.
Ishaq briefed the Secretary-General on the latest developments in the action plan for the largest sporting event in terms of the number of participants, which is scheduled to be held in October 2024 under the auspices of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Ishaq reviewed important topics such as the readiness of the Kingdom’s institutions for this huge global event, the international communication plan for the tournament, and the committee’s preparations.
Al-Moayyed praised the role of Bahraini youth, who have proven their ability to manage and host major international events.
He stressed that the college, under the directives of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, will provide an opportunity for young people to participate in the success of this event.
Ishaq expressed his pride in His Majesty the King’s sponsorship of this event and the support of the college, which aims to implement the vision of His Highness Sheikh Nasser and the First Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the Public Authority for Sports. President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
