Manama, Aug. 16 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,960.08 points marking an increase of 0.65 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the rise in the Financials Sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 761.09 points marking a decrease of 2.91 points below the previous closing.
Results indicated that 54 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,479,735 worth BD 276,685.
Investors traded mainly in the Financials Sector representing 45.50% of the total value of securities traded.
