Manama, Jan. 3 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,963.51 points, marking an increase of 6.67 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the rise in the Financial and Material Sectors.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 727.66 points, marking a decrease of 0.19 points below the previous closing.
Results indicated that 75 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,531,837 worth BD 1,211,466.
Investors traded mainly in the Materials Sector, representing 87.52% of the total value of securities traded.
