Commander-in-Chief receives BDF Hajj delegation

Manama, June 19 (BNA): Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force, received the Hajj delegation No. 48 of the Bahrain Defense Force upon its departure from Makkah.

It was attended by Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defense Affairs.

The Commander-in-Chief conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. Prime Minister, wishing them a safe journey.

He praised the royal support for sending a group of Bahrain Defense Force personnel to perform Hajj annually, which came as an expression of His Majesty the King’s appreciation for the Bahrain Defense Force personnel.

The Commander-in-Chief praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in organizing the Hajj season and providing pilgrims with a smooth experience.
