Manama, May 29 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,035.81 points, marking an increase of 14.23 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the rise in the communication service sector, the financial sector, the industrial sector and the material sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 801.78 points, marking an increase of 10.51 points above the previous closing.
Results indicated that 86 equity transactions took place with a volume of 997,745 worth BD 262,610.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 76.79% of the total value of securities traded.
