Council of Representatives Speaker meets Saudi Shura Council Speaker

Marrakesh, June 13 (BNA): Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam stressed the importance of strengthening parliamentary relations with the Saudi Shura Council.

He praised the long-term relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

This came in a statement by the Speaker of the House of Representatives during his meeting with the Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council, Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Muhammad Al Al-Sheikh, on the sidelines of the Interfaith Dialogue Conference held in the Moroccan city of Marrakesh.

In the statement, he praised the pivotal role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting humanitarian causes and defending Arab and Islamic interests.

Dr. Al-Sheikh praised the bilateral relations between the two countries, pointing to the steadily growing relations in all fields, with the support of the leaderships of the two countries.
