Manama, Jan. 7 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,978.35 points, marking an increase of 5.73 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the rise in the financial sector and the materials sector.
Bahrain lslamic Index closed at 738.35 points, marking an increase of 8.78 points above the previous closing.
Results indicated that 64 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,849,512 worth BD 450,926.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 87.10% of the total value of securities traded.
