Manama, Sept. 11 (BNA): Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,939.03 points, marking a decrease of 2.40 points below the previous closing.
This decrease was due to the drop in the financial sector and material sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 733.35 points, marking a decrease of 0.38 points below the previous closing.
Results indicated that 55 equity transactions took place with a volume of 962,261 worth BD 702,345.
Investors traded mainly in the material sector representing 62.09% of the total value of securities traded.
