You will focus on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing both client-facing and internal applications within PwC, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for the company to drive strategic business growth.

Our Technology Infrastructure and Transformation team assists PwC in its IT transformation efforts, helping us improve our business value by improving our IT capabilities. It will help PricewaterhouseCoopers understand, plan and achieve strategic business
opportunities in information technology.

The role requires a dynamic IT specialist with extensive experience in managing planning, budgeting, debugging, updating, monitoring, maintenance, and support of IT operations/infrastructure, data centers) services/software and related equipment.

Basic Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Executing and ensuring delivery of all existing and future infrastructure projects, data centers and business cases
Executing and managing relevant current and future infrastructure and data center projects, ensuring delivery of project deliverables and milestones,
With an agreement on time and quality
Identify, implement and manage infrastructure and data center projects, variables, issues, and risks, and escalate them as necessary
Reporting as necessary to business and IT infrastructure leads to project/solution implementation progress
Monitor performance of data center components and manage/escalate issues and risks to management as necessary
Design, configure and deploy infrastructure solutions, as well as develop the cost of solutions associated with construction, operation and maintenance
– Plan, implement and ensure delivery of infrastructure and data centers configuration, changes, releases, incidents and updates
Plan and ensure that technology infrastructure capacity including backups can deliver the agreed level of service in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Monitor and oversee the day-to-day operations of basic infrastructure, backup management, procurement management, and restoration of data centers and equipment
– Administration
Ensure that all operations, infrastructure and data center services are available and meet the agreed level of service
Responding to requests for changes in the infrastructure production environment and implementing them to reduce the risk of outage, as well as managing and monitoring the implementation of approved changes
Build and maintain an ongoing dialogue with business partners and other technical functions to support effective collaboration and team coordination
Coordinate with other technology functions, to deliver agreed projects on requirements and services
Contribute to the development of functional processes and ensure implementation of relevant processes and standards
Planning and implementing an in-depth technical activity, which influences the direction of activities/plans and provides technical insight and direction to others
Investigate and assist in resolving problems related to the customer’s network and IT property using agreed troubleshooting methodologies
– Manage support cases to enable a fast solution that exceeds our customers’ expectations
Ensure accurate recording of all cases using the company’s ticket management tool and closing within agreed timeframes
Maintain records and use a central document repository, to ensure knowledge is shared across the team and enable best practices
Coordinate with regional and global technology teams on operational tasks and project-based projects
Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships to understand client requirements
Ability to deliver against agreed deadlines and targets

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

The candidate will be achievement-oriented with the ability to be flexible and adaptable on a daily basis. Will be able to work independently and as part of a team with a fast pace and high energy that will translate into high quality output.

Solid understanding of basic networking and Internet protocols
Deep understanding of network fundamentals: OSI, TCP/IP, TCP/UDP, IPv4/IPv6, and network models
Components (router, switch, bridge, WAP/WLC), network design standards and cabling
Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Cisco Switching Technologies
Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Cisco routing technologies
Deep understanding and hands-on experience in monitoring tools, network diagnostics, and network analytics. SolarWinds is preferred
Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus Switches
Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Cisco technologies (VSS, VPC, SWV, HSRP)
Hands-on experience with recalls and upgrades for Cisco switches and routers
Good understanding of cloud technologies such as SD-WAN, FWaaS, PaaS and SaaS is preferred
Good understanding of VPNs, IPSec, Firewalls, Radius Authentication, ISE Authentication
Experience with Cisco Meraki Cloud and Cisco Wireless Solution preferred.
Strong ability to troubleshoot complex network environments
Experience in using ticketing systems and using monitoring and management tools
– Support and own custom projects
– Designing, implementing, managing and supporting IT infrastructure
Data Center Operations
– Configuration, management and support (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, etc.)
– Implementation and support of backup operations
Windows Server 2012/2016 management and support
More than 7 years of relevant experience in data centers, IT infrastructure, IT operations implementation, support in direct interaction with business users, preferably within a professional services environment
More than 5 years if experience in enterprise network technologies
Knowledge in (project management methodologies)
Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload with flexibility and ability to handle well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Customer Obsession
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related fields such as Information Technology
Qualifications: The following qualification(s) are required/preferred and useful for the candidate to perform the role:
– MCSE – Wanted
– CCNA – Wanted
– CCNP / CCIE – Preferred
– AWS / Azure Certifications – Preferred
Ability and willingness to re-establish a presence in the Middle East, where the role dictates

Language Skills:

– Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Fluent in English but a multilingual Arabic speaker is preferred
