Neon Defender-22 joint drill to kick off tomorrow

Manama, May 7 (BNA) The Bahrain Defense Force will carry out tomorrow, Sunday, a joint exercise entitled “Neon Defender 22”. The exercises will witness the participation of weapons from the Bahrain Defense Force and the Ministry of Interior represented by the Coast Guard and the US Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT).

The military exercise is part of plans and programs aimed at enhancing training, exchanging experiences, and raising the efficiency of all participants in facing maritime dangers and threats, defending installations, maritime navigation, and protecting waterways in the area of ​​operations.

The exercise includes field applications, naval operations and tactical maneuvers with the latest combat technologies. It is part of joint defense cooperation and coordination with friendly countries to protect the security and stability of regional waters, secure sea lanes and protect maritime navigation in the region.
