National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander patronises Commemoration Day ceremony

Manama, December 17 (BNA): A ceremony was held today in the Royal Guard to commemorate the martyr, under the patronage of the National Security Adviser, Commander of the Royal Guard, Major General His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The ceremony was attended by the Commander of the Royal Guard Special Force, Lt. Col. His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

After the official ceremony, Major General Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa watered the palm tree, which symbolizes eternal life.

Then the National Security Adviser, Commander of the Royal Guard, delivered a speech in which he praised his grandfather, Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa, one of Bahrain’s martyrs, who sacrificed his life in a battle in defense of the Kingdom of Bahrain. He stressed that Bahrain will remain immune from any threat, as a salute to the martyrs who fell in the line of duty. He said their sacrifices will be forever cherished and their dedication and patriotism will pass on to future generations.
