National Guard Ramadan Sports Competitions concluded


Manama, April 9 (BNA): Director of Staff of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, patronized the closing ceremony of Ramadan sports competitions.

He emphasized that this sport enjoys continuous interest and support from the Chief of the National Guard, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and the follow-up of the Director of Staff of the National Guard, Major General Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, to develop the training mechanism in it. National Guard at all levels.

The current version of the Ramadan sports competitions contained four main competitions in which the units competed: the military marathon, the six-football, the volleyball, and the 100-meter race for those over fifty years of age.

The director handed cups to the winning teams in football and volleyball, distributed medals to the two teams that finished in second place, and took a souvenir photo with the two winning teams.

He affirmed the National Guard’s pride in the high levels that sport has reached and its efforts in preparing and training its members, which is clearly reflected in the levels and results achieved by sports teams at the level of internal competitions as well as in their external participation, and the high sportsmanship of the National Guard members.
