National Guard Commander’s holy Quran competition winners honoured

Manama, Apr. 10 (BNA): Religious Affairs Adviser at the National Guard Headship, Sheikh Rashid bin Muhammad Al-Hajri, honored the winners of the National Guard Commander’s competition for memorizing and reciting the Noble Qur’an.

The honoring ceremony was held at the Sakhir Camp Mosque, in the presence of a number of officers, men, officers and soldiers of the National Guard.

The annual competition was held in Ramadan based on the directives of the Commander of the National Guard, Lieutenant General, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, and under the supervision of the Director of Staff of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa.

Dr. Al-Hajri affirmed the Kingdom’s keenness to encourage the teaching, memorization and recitation of the Holy Qur’an, pointing out that the National Guard Commander’s Competition for memorizing and reciting the Holy Qur’an aims to achieve the Kingdom’s goals in this regard.
