National Days celebrated with stunning lights displays in Southern Area Municipality


Manama, Dec. 11 (BNA): The Municipality of the Southern Region held an amazing show of lights next to December 16th Street, to celebrate Bahrain’s celebrations of its national days, in celebration of the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Islamic country. By Ahmed Al-Fateh in 1783, and the anniversary of His Majesty’s accession to the throne.

The inauguration was inaugurated in the presence of the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, Wael bin Nasser Al-Mubarak, and the Governor of the South, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.

Guests, mentors, the Center for Gifted Students at the Ministry of Education, and many sculptors and artists walked the illuminated corridor and watched the artists’ drawings.

The municipality has decorated many roads and roads with red and white lights and expressions of congratulations, starting from Crown Prince Street all the way to Al Riffa Street, 3 kilometers away. Bright Bahraini flags are also placed on trees and lampposts along Zallaq Road.

On December 16th Street, two lanes of lighting, fir trees, 120 meters long and five meters wide, were constructed for pedestrians, inspired by the five serrations in the Bahraini flag.

Bahraini painters participated in live painting on site, expressing their love and loyalty to Bahrain and its leadership.

The second lane, 150 meters long and 10 meters wide, is for cars and motorcycles. It gives drivers the opportunity to document the most wonderful moments with family and friends, and to express their joy on national holiday celebrations.
