Manama, June 21 (BNA) His Majesty Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oil and Gas Holding Company (nogaholding) affirmed the continuous development of the oil sector. And the gas sector in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the aspirations of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He pointed out the keenness of the Oil and Gas Holding Company to develop this vital sector to achieve the objectives of the Economic Vision 2030.
This came during a meeting today with the CEO of the Italian company Eni, Claudio Descalzi, which was held in the presence of the Minister of Oil and Environment, Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak bin Dina, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tatweer Petroleum, Eng. Faisal Al Mahrous, Acting General Manager of Tatweer Petroleum, Ghassan Ali Al Muhanna, Director of Initial Operations for Eni, and CEO of the Middle East Region Fouad Kreikji.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa stressed the keenness of the “new partnership” to exchange experiences between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Italy to advance the oil and gas sector and strengthen the oil economy in the Kingdom. He discussed with Claudio Descalzi ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields.
