Manama, September 21 (BNA) Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Wael bin Nasser Al-Mubarak participated in the campaign to clean up the Malikiyah coast on the occasion of the International Cleaning Day in cooperation with the Cleanup Bahrain organization and the participation of volunteers.
The minister stressed the importance of raising awareness and community partnership in maintaining the cleanliness of public facilities and protecting the environment.
The meeting was attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
Al Mubarak welcomed the initiatives that would enhance the community partnership in achieving its vision of maintaining public cleanliness.
He stressed the importance of organizing environmental events in promoting civilized behavior related to public hygiene.
“The ministry supports any community initiative aimed at improving the environment,” the minister said.
