Manama, Dec. 14 (BNA): Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Wael bin Nasser Al-Mubarak stressed the role of municipal councils in the country’s development process.
He stressed the ministry’s keenness to enhance coordination with municipal councils to ensure the progress of projects and services.
Al-Mubarak received Chairman of Muharraq Municipal Council Abdulaziz Al-Nar to review projects and start coordination mechanisms between the council and the ministry in a way that contributes to improving work procedures.
The minister congratulated Al-Nar on his election as president, and praised the council’s role in supporting and developing the municipal experience.
