Manama, October 29 (BNA) The Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning, Essam bin Abdullah Khalaf, issued decisions to reduce fees for 223 Bahraini rented families and exempt three others last September.
The minister explained in a statement that “the reduction is in line with the directives of the Prime Minister and the decision of the Council of Ministers to reduce the cost of living for citizens.”
This step also comes in implementation of the royal initiative of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to ensure decent living conditions for all citizens and exempt low-income families from paying fees or waive their arrears.
