Moura, Kane, Son give Tottenham 3-0 win over Crystal Palace

London, December 26 (BNA): Lucas Moura scored and assisted Harry Kane and Son Heung-min in Tottenham’s 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace in the English Premier League on Sunday.

Palace failed to cancel the match after the outbreak of the Corona virus in the team and coach Patrick Vieira was absent after he tested positive.

Wilfried Zaha compounded Palace problems with an unnecessary red card in the 37th minute when the South London club were 2-0 down.

Tottenham are unbeaten in six league matches under Antonio Conte and are six points behind fourth-placed Arsenal with three games in hand.

A crucial five-minute period swung the match in favor of Tottenham with two quick goals, then reduced Palace to 10 men.

Kane scored in the 32nd minute from Mora’s heart after being freed by Emerson Royal.

The Brazilian duo met again two minutes later when Moura headed Emerson’s cross from close range.

Palace’s surrender was complete, 11 minutes after receiving his first yellow card, Zaha foolishly threw his arms at Davinson Sanchez and was sent off by referee John Moss.

Spurs had to wait until the 74th minute before extending their lead further. Moura found space again on the right side and his cross was converted home at the near post by Son to score his fourth goal in five matches.
