More misery for Potter as Tottenham beats Chelsea 2-0

London, February 26 (BNA): Chelsea’s troubles were exacerbated by their 2-0 loss to London rivals Tottenham in the English Premier League today, Sunday.

Oliver Skipp and Harry Kane scored to add to the misery for Chelsea manager Graham Potter, whose side can’t seem to change form, reports the Associated Press.

Meanwhile, fourth-placed Tottenham have boosted their bid for a place in the Champions League qualifiers by moving them four points clear of Newcastle, having played two more games.

But Chelsea’s campaign is getting worse after extending their winless run to six matches.

Potter’s side have won just once in their last 11 games and twice in the Premier League since mid-October.

While Potter is said to have the faith of club owners Todd Bohle and Clearlake Capital, the latest loss will add to the pressure on him.

Chelsea went down with two goals in the second half from Skip and Kane after they rarely threatened Tottenham at Tottenham Hotspur.

Chelsea have appeared bereft of attacking ideas and have now scored just one goal in their last six games in all competitions.

Tottenham took the lead in the first minute of the second half through Skip, and Kane swept another goal in the 82nd minute.
